More muscle doesn’t automatically mean more bulk. Most people just want more lean muscle, and the more muscle mass you have, the higher your metabolism becomes.
A higher metabolism helps you lose more body fat by burning more calories. And that means you can enjoy more of the food you love without restrictions.
Muscle gain isn’t only about looking better naked; it’s about feeling better and having a better quality of life. It’s less about getting bulked up for a bodybuilding contest (although I can also help you out there having competed myself) and more about increasing strength and, if you’re older, increasing bone density. It’s also about looking great in the clothes you love and feeling comfortable.
The downside of getting jacked is that people will want you to help them move things. And if you own a pickup truck, you may have to oblige them. 😉
